Staying focused so you can comply.

With our commitment to the affordable housing industry, Maher Duessel has expertise in all aspects of audit filings with HUD's Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC). Our dedicated team of professionals is well-versed in all aspects of HUD financial reporting requirements and is ready to help you withstand the scrutiny of oversight review on these filings. They will assist your organization in making the filing process as smooth as possible.

All multifamily housing entities are required to submit annual electronic financial statement data to HUD. HUD requires these submissions to properly assess the financial health of organizations receiving funding, protect the agency from financial loss, ensure the proper use of revenues and federal funds, and evaluate compliance with various agreements and contracts. Annual REAC filings must be submitted within nine months of the fiscal year end for public housing and four months of the calendar year end for HUD housing.

Specialized experience.

Our involvement with organizations such as the AHACPA (Affordable Housing Association of Certified Public Accountants) and PAHRA (Pennsylvania Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities) enables our professionals to stay on the top of the latest regulatory changes.

Maher Duessel is an ideal partner for ensuring your organization's compliance due to our extensive experience serving Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program organizations, HUD multi-family housing entities, and housing authorities. Our dedicated team serves agencies like yours throughout the year giving you the confidence to know that your financial reporting will be fully compliant while offering transparency to HUD and other key stakeholders.
